Architectural Joinery for Cardiff properties
If Architectural Joinery in Cardiff were straightforward, there would be a stock size for it. Because the area is mainly valleys terraces, Victorian maritime villas and civic Portland stone frontages, no two openings measure quite the same. The weather does the rest: very high rainfall with strong Atlantic and Bristol Channel exposure here, and prolonged wetting decay and finish failure on valley-facing elevations as the predictable result. The part that matters is one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
The measuring is done by the people responsible for the fit, which concentrates the mind. Tell us the problem rather than the solution and we will advise on both.
One thing that catches people out here: valleys terraces share a repeating bay and sash format that suits batch manufacture.
