Architectural Joinery for Newport properties
Architectural Joinery around Newport is a different job from one street to the next. Most of what we survey locally is valleys terraces, Victorian maritime villas and civic Portland stone frontages, which is not built to any modern module. very high rainfall with strong Atlantic and Bristol Channel exposure is the local complication, and prolonged wetting decay and finish failure on valley-facing elevations is what it eventually causes. What you are paying for is one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
Every job is measured on site first, because drawn sizes and built sizes are seldom the same. Tell us the problem rather than the solution and we will advise on both.
A detail specific to this area: valleys terraces share a repeating bay and sash format that suits batch manufacture.
