Architectural Joinery for Consett properties
Architectural Joinery in Consett rewards patience at the setting-out stage. Property here runs to colliery terraces, Georgian Durham city stock and Pennine stone housing, and each of those brings its own set of dimensions. Set against cold upland winters with heavy rainfall, most joinery here eventually shows frost and saturation damage on unmaintained painted softwood. The part that matters is one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
We check on site before committing anything to the saw, and we query what does not add up. Send us sizes and a photograph and we will come back with a fixed written price.
Local factor worth flagging early: Durham's cathedral setting carries World Heritage-level design scrutiny.
