Architectural Joinery for Coxhoe properties
There is no standard version of Architectural Joinery in Coxhoe, which is rather the point. The housing here is largely colliery terraces, Georgian Durham city stock and Pennine stone housing, and that shapes what will actually fit. cold upland winters with heavy rainfall sets the pace of decay, and frost and saturation damage on unmaintained painted softwood is how it shows up first. Everything we do here comes back to one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
Nothing goes into manufacture until a surveyor has checked each opening on site. Send what you have, even if it is only a phone photo, and we will take it from there.
One thing that catches people out here: Durham's cathedral setting carries World Heritage-level design scrutiny.
