Architectural Joinery for Shildon properties
There is no standard version of Architectural Joinery in Shildon, which is rather the point. Property here runs to colliery terraces, Georgian Durham city stock and Pennine stone housing, and each of those brings its own set of dimensions. Set against cold upland winters with heavy rainfall, most joinery here eventually shows frost and saturation damage on unmaintained painted softwood. In practice that means one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
Manufacture only starts once the survey figures are agreed with you in writing. Send what you have, even if it is only a phone photo, and we will take it from there.
A local consideration we always raise: Durham's cathedral setting carries World Heritage-level design scrutiny.
