Architectural Joinery for Willington properties
If you are looking at Architectural Joinery in Willington, the timber is only half the decision. Local property is overwhelmingly colliery terraces, Georgian Durham city stock and Pennine stone housing, which is why we never quote from a catalogue. Locally you are contending with cold upland winters with heavy rainfall, so frost and saturation damage on unmaintained painted softwood is the fault we are called out to. Where we put the effort is one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
We would rather spend an hour surveying than a week correcting. We will price it properly in writing, and we will tell you if it is not worth doing.
Local factor worth flagging early: Durham's cathedral setting carries World Heritage-level design scrutiny.
