Architectural Joinery for Hereford properties
Architectural Joinery in Hereford is rarely a catalogue job. With black-and-white villages, cider-farm outbuildings and rural stone cottages making up much of the area, off-the-shelf sizes rarely line up. wet westerly weather and long damp winters is the local complication, and sustained wetting decay at ground-contact and threshold level is what it eventually causes. The value is in one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue, not in the timber bill.
The measuring is done by the people responsible for the fit, which concentrates the mind. Rough dimensions and a couple of photographs are enough for us to price it properly.
One local point to factor in: rural properties often need full frame renewal rather than piecemeal repair.
