Architectural Joinery for Aylsham properties
If you are looking at Architectural Joinery in Aylsham, the timber is only half the decision. Local property is overwhelmingly flint and pantile cottages, Georgian merchant houses and coastal resort stock, which is why we never quote from a catalogue. The weather does the rest: exposed North Sea easterlies with salt-laden wind here, and salt damage and finish erosion on east-facing coastal elevations as the predictable result. In practice that means one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
Each opening is recorded individually, since a terrace of identical houses rarely is. Rough dimensions and a couple of photographs are enough for us to price it properly.
A detail specific to this area: flint walls give minimal reveal, so weathering detail carries the whole load.
