Architectural Joinery for Blaenau Ffestiniog properties
The Architectural Joinery we make for Blaenau Ffestiniog is set out from a survey, not a size chart. Given the slate-quarry terraces, Victorian resort stock and stone farmhouses that dominates locally, standard sizes are the exception not the rule. severe Irish Sea exposure with very high rainfall sets the pace of decay, and salt and rain combining to strip finishes and open glazing joints is how it shows up first. In practice that means one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
We would rather spend an hour surveying than a week correcting. Photographs and approximate sizes are all we need to start.
One local point to factor in: Llandudno's Victorian frontages are protected as a coherent conservation set.
