Architectural Joinery for Taunton properties
Nothing about Architectural Joinery in Taunton is settled until someone has been on site. Property here runs to Bath stone Georgian terraces, Levels farmhouses and Victorian seaside stock, and each of those brings its own set of dimensions. very high rainfall with standing water across the Levels is the local complication, and prolonged saturation causing frame distortion and sash binding is what it eventually causes. Everything we do here comes back to one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
We check on site before committing anything to the saw, and we query what does not add up. Photographs and approximate sizes are all we need to start.
A local consideration we always raise: Bath's World Heritage status makes joinery detail subject to close scrutiny.
