Architectural Joinery for Rotherham properties
Architectural Joinery in Rotherham rewards patience at the setting-out stage. The housing here is largely steel-era terraces, interwar council stock and stone village housing, and that shapes what will actually fit. Because of cold inland winters with prolonged damp, we see condensation-driven decay on single-glazed units in unheated rooms more often here than in most of the country. Everything we do here comes back to one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
The measuring is done by the people responsible for the fit, which concentrates the mind. A quick call or a photograph of the opening is usually enough to get you a price.
Bear in mind for this area: large volumes of pre-1919 stock make sash repair the dominant enquiry.
