Architectural Joinery for Sudbury properties
The hard part of Architectural Joinery in Sudbury is not the making, it is the measuring. Most of what we survey locally is colour-washed timber-framed cottages, wool-town merchant houses and coastal stock, which is not built to any modern module. The other factor is dry easterly climate with strong coastal salt exposure, which is why lime-render and timber junction failure where movement opens the seal is the most common reason people call us. The detail we will not compromise on is one-off items worked from a drawing set rather than a catalogue.
Manufacture only starts once the survey figures are agreed with you in writing. Give us the basics and you will have a written figure, not a range that moves later.
Worth knowing locally: Lavenham-style timber framing needs specialist scribed repair, not replacement.
