Commercial Door Sets for Ayr properties
There is no standard version of Commercial Door Sets in Ayr, which is rather the point. Around here it is sandstone tenements, Georgian New Town terraces and post-war housing schemes, and that alone rules out anything bought by the pallet. The weather does the rest: cold wet winters with strong westerly exposure here, and sash and case failure in tenement stock and cill decay at stone junctions as the predictable result. The part that matters is certified door sets supplied complete with frame and ironmongery prep.
The measuring is done by the people responsible for the fit, which concentrates the mind. Photographs and approximate sizes are all we need to start.
Worth knowing locally: Scottish sash and case construction differs from English box sash and needs matching.
