Shopfitting Joinery for Newton Aycliffe properties
If Shopfitting Joinery in Newton Aycliffe were straightforward, there would be a stock size for it. With colliery terraces, Georgian Durham city stock and Pennine stone housing making up much of the area, off-the-shelf sizes rarely line up. The other factor is cold upland winters with heavy rainfall, which is why frost and saturation damage on unmaintained painted softwood is the most common reason people call us. Everything we do here comes back to retail and hospitality fit-out worked to a tight overnight programme.
We survey before anything is cut, so the schedule reflects the opening as built rather than as drawn. Photographs and approximate sizes are all we need to start.
One thing that catches people out here: Durham's cathedral setting carries World Heritage-level design scrutiny.
