Shopfitting Joinery for Shildon properties
People come to us about Shopfitting Joinery in Shildon once the cheap option has already failed. You will find mostly colliery terraces, Georgian Durham city stock and Pennine stone housing in this area, and it moves as it ages. Locally you are contending with cold upland winters with heavy rainfall, so frost and saturation damage on unmaintained painted softwood is the fault we are called out to. The value is in retail and hospitality fit-out worked to a tight overnight programme, not in the timber bill.
Every job is measured on site first, because drawn sizes and built sizes are seldom the same. A quick call or a photograph of the opening is usually enough to get you a price.
Something particular to this area: Durham's cathedral setting carries World Heritage-level design scrutiny.
