Shopfitting Joinery for Islington properties
Half the Shopfitting Joinery problems we fix in Islington started as a sizing assumption. Around here it is Victorian and Edwardian terraces, mansion blocks and post-war infill, and that alone rules out anything bought by the pallet. The exposure here is high pollution load and sheltered urban humidity, which is exactly the condition that causes paint failure on south-facing sashes and rot at the bottom rail. The part that matters is retail and hospitality fit-out worked to a tight overnight programme.
We would rather spend an hour surveying than a week correcting. Rough dimensions and a couple of photographs are enough for us to price it properly.
Local factor worth flagging early: large numbers of properties sit in conservation areas with like-for-like replacement conditions.
