Shopfitting Joinery for Bath properties
Shopfitting Joinery in Bath rewards patience at the setting-out stage. The building stock is Bath stone Georgian terraces, Levels farmhouses and Victorian seaside stock, so we expect variation before we ever pick up a tape. Because of very high rainfall with standing water across the Levels, we see prolonged saturation causing frame distortion and sash binding more often here than in most of the country. Our focus on this is retail and hospitality fit-out worked to a tight overnight programme.
Nothing is ordered until someone has stood in front of the opening with a tape. Give us the basics and you will have a written figure, not a range that moves later.
Worth knowing locally: Bath's World Heritage status makes joinery detail subject to close scrutiny.
